ECO VALLEY
Famatina Valley, La Rioja
Argentina
The Valle de la Puerta Vineyard was established in 1994, and now has 150 hectares under vine. Located in the Famatina Valley, the property sits between the Famatina and Velasco Mountain ranges, which branch off the Andes.
A special microclimate, with hot and dry summer days and cool nights, combines with the clean air and desert-like topography of the valley to ensure outstanding ripening conditions for grapes.
Rain is scarce with only 4 to 8 inches per year and for this reason the winery has to source its water for irrigation from 200 meter wells. The winery was built in 2002 and is one of the most modern and technologically advanced wineries of its type in Argentina.

Clasico Torrontes
Tasting notes
Powerful honeysuckle and other floral aromas are characteristic of this unique wine, the grapes for which are grown almost exclusively in Argentina. It has an elegant pale yellow color
with hints of green, while on the palate crisp acidity provides a cleanliness and platform for the citrus flavors. Finishes clean and refreshing, with more floral hints

Clasico Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting notes
Intense and complex aromas have hints of cherry, blackberry and a touch of ripened green pepper. A reddish-‐purple color stands out in the glass. Full-‐bodied on the palate, with well integrated acidity and a nice tannic structure that provides a long and lasting finish.
